We are delighted to be able to welcome you back to The Guildford Arms.

 We take our responsibility to our customers and our team extremely seriously. We have implemented some basic protocols, please follow these to ensure your safety, and the wellbeing of our team and the other guests.

  • All customers must wear a face mask when entering and moving around the building.

  • To comply with the Government’s test and trace policies we require all bookings to provide a name & telephone number.

  • Please follow the instructions given and go directly to your table.

  • There is a one way system in place - enter via the ground floor and exit via the garden staircase through the side gate onto Devonshire Drive - please take care on leaving ensuring you social distance from members of the public on the pavement outside of the gate.

  • All our tables are 2 metres apart or less with mitigation.

  • Indoor tables are restricted to 1 household only (maximum 6 people). Outdoor tables for mixed households are restricted to a maximum group of six.

  • Closing time is now at 10pm.

  • We have regularly spaced hand sanitiser stations spread across the dining room and garden.

  • We require all customers to use the hand sanitisers on entering and leaving the premises.

  • There is a socially distanced queueing system for the toilets and 1 person allowed at a time (unless accompanying a child).

  • Please maintain social distancing of 2 metres from our team and other guests for the duration of your visit.

  • We have a reduced number of tables inside - if your table is in the garden you need to ensure you bring the appropriate clothing as we are unable to move you inside - most of our tables offer some cover and heating.

  • Table service is in operation - you must not go to the bar or kitchen at any time.

  • Please stay at your table for the duration of your visit.

  • Always keep your children seated at your table.

  • Accompany children to the toilet.

  • We will deliver the food and drinks to your table on a tray for you to distribute amongst yourselves.

  • Condiments and table settings will be allocated once you have arrived at your table.

  • We have implemented strict hygiene policies and systems with staff.

  • Our business is now completely cashless.

  • We are committed to making your time with us fun, enjoyable, and safe.
